SYNTHETIC STUCCO
Related to stucco, but different is Synthetic Stucco, also known as EIFS (Energy Insulating Finishing System).  As the name implies, synthetic stucco is made of different materials, consisting of a base of an insulating foam, coated with covering layers to get the finish, texture or color  you desire.

SEE OUR VIDEO ON EIFS - click here.

The layers of the EIFS can be seen in the picture on the left.  You can see how a plain brick surface is being covered by foam, STO brand in this case, which is then covered with a plaster-like coating to which a stabilizing mesh is applied.  This is finally covered with the finish coat, which may be textured and painted for any look.

I'm particularly proud of this project, small and simple though it may be.  This shows the versatility of EIFS for many different uses.  A completely new and improved look was created for the public face of a business.

CERTIFIED BY

In the photo at left, Chay is removing the damaged area of an exterior wall which will be replaced by a long-lasting EIFS finish.  Obviously, this is not one of our original jobs, we just fix 'em!

To repair old, worn EIFS, the entire surface doesn't have to be removed.  We only take away the damaged portion right down to the underlayment.  We take pride in fixing others' less-than-perfect original installations.

The new EIFS blends in perfectly with the existing structure for a beautiful, cost-effective repair.
